DJ Booking Contract
By checking the agreement box, typing your name as signature, and/or paying the deposit, you electronically sign and agree to this Agreement for the event details submitted at booking.
1. Services
DJ will provide professional DJ and MC services for the agreed date, location, and hours, including music selection/mixing, standard sound equipment for the stated guest count, and master-of-ceremonies duties where applicable. Song requests and a do-not-play list may be submitted in advance.
2. Fees, Deposit & Payment
- Total Fee: as stated at booking.
- Deposit: a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the Total Fee is due at booking to reserve the date. The date is not held until the deposit is received.
- Balance: due no later than 14 days before the event. Events booked within 14 days require payment in full.
3. Travel & Events Outside Florida
The Total Fee covers events within Florida (local travel included). Events outside Florida are subject to additional travel, lodging, and logistics fees, quoted separately before booking. Out-of-state inquiries: NuggetEvent@gmail.com or Info@nuggetpartytime.com.
4. Cancellation & Refunds
The deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations 30+ days before the event owe only the deposit; within 30 days owe 50% of the Total Fee; within 14 days owe the full balance. If DJ cancels for reasons within our control, Client receives a full refund and we will make reasonable efforts to arrange a qualified replacement.
5. Postponement & Force Majeure
If the event is postponed, the deposit transfers to a mutually agreed new date subject to availability. Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control (severe weather, illness, venue closure, acts of government, etc.).
6. Client Responsibilities
Client will provide a safe, weather-protected performance area with access to standard power; adequate setup space and time; and any venue access, parking, or insurance documents the venue requires. Client is responsible for guest conduct and venue sound/curfew limits.
7. Equipment & Safety
All equipment remains DJ's property. Client is responsible for loss or damage to DJ equipment caused by guests or venue conditions. DJ may pause or stop performance if safety is at risk.
8. Overtime
Performance beyond the contracted end time, if DJ is available, is billed at $150 per hour (or part thereof), payable that day.
9. Add-Ons
Optional add-ons (e.g., live saxophone via our partner The Sugar Sax, additional lighting, extra hours) are coordinated separately and may carry their own fees and terms.
10. Liability
DJ's total liability under this Agreement will not exceed the Total Fee paid. DJ is not liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control or for indirect or consequential damages.
11. Media & Promotion
Unless Client opts out in writing, DJ may capture and use photos/video/audio from the event for portfolio and promotional purposes.
12. Entire Agreement & Governing Law
This Agreement is the entire agreement between the parties and is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
13. Electronic Acceptance
By checking the agreement box, typing your name as signature, and/or paying the deposit, you acknowledge you have read, understood, and agree to this Agreement, and consent to do so electronically under applicable e-signature law.
