This is not a boat with a playlist. Multiple DJs, back to back, running a house and dubstep hybrid from the moment we leave the dock until we tie back up.

The music does not stop when we anchor. The rig plays out over the sandbar the whole time we are there, so you are standing in the Gulf with a real sound system going.

THE JOHN'S PASS SANDBAR

A stretch of clear, shallow water just inside the pass between Madeira Beach and Treasure Island. You cannot drive there and you cannot walk there. The only way in is by boat, which is exactly why it never feels like the beach a half mile away.

We anchor up, the music stays on, and you spend the afternoon standing in the Gulf with a drink in your hand. The tide falls all afternoon on the 26th, so the water keeps getting shallower and the sandbar keeps getting bigger the longer we are out there.

Be at the dock. Check in, ID out, find your spot on the boat.

Lines off. First DJ starts, drinks open, we head for the pass.

Anchor at the sandbar. Get in the water. This is the part you came for.

Last call on the sandbar. Back aboard, we run the pass one more time.
6:00 PM
Back at the dock. Go get dinner on the boardwalk.

Nugget Rodeo takes over Sunset Rodeo in Tampa.

Eight hours of mechanical bull, nugget wrestling, free line dancing lessons and a spicy nugget eating contest. Every ticket comes with 10 chicken nuggets and the dipping sauce station. DJ Nugget opens, a live band plays 2 to 5, then Nuggets After Dark runs 6 to 8.

What is included with my seat?

Four hours on the boat, round trip from Hubbard's Marina, drinks on board courtesy of -196 and Suntory, multiple DJs playing house and dubstep the whole time, and a couple of hours anchored at the John's Pass sandbar. There is a restroom on board.

I have my own boat. Can I come?

Yes, and you do not need anything from us. Tickets are only for seats on our boat out of Hubbard's Marina. If you have your own ride, just anchor near us at the John's Pass sandbar and the music carries. No ticket, no RSVP, nothing to sign up for. If the captain moves the day for weather we post it on Instagram, so check there before you head out.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Your seat carries over to Saturday, October 10 automatically. Same boat, same time, nothing for you to do. We do not refund for weather moves. The captain makes that call, not us, and we will email and text you the moment it is made.

I can't make it anymore. Can I give my seat to someone else?

Yes. Send someone in your place. Email their name and cell to Info@NuggetPartyTime.com at least 48 hours before. They will need ID at the dock, 21+. Whatever you two work out on the money is between you.

Where do I park?

The John's Pass Parking Garage is directly across from the marina and it is $7 for all day. Come early, the boardwalk gets busy on a Saturday afternoon.

What should I bring?

Your ID, sunscreen, a swimsuit and a towel. The water reflects, so you will burn faster than you think. Cash for the crew is always appreciated. Leave the glass at home.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Yes, if you want to. Drinks are provided on board and included with your seat, so you do not have to bring anything. But if there is something specific you want, bring it. No glass. Cans and plastic only.

Do I have to swim?

No. The sandbar is shallow, calm water and plenty of people stand around in it rather than swim. You can also stay on the boat the whole time. Nobody is making you get wet.

Is there a bathroom?

Yes, there is a restroom on board. There is nothing on the sandbar itself, so use the boat.

Is there food?

Not included. Eat before you board or hit the boardwalk after we get back at 6. You can bring a small cooler with snacks.

How many boats are there?

As many as we can fill. We release them one at a time and add the next one when the last sells out, rather than running half empty boats. Boat One is open now. When it goes, the waitlist gets first crack at Boat Two before it goes public.

How do I get on with my ticket?

Your order confirmation email is your ticket. Bring it up on your phone at the dock and we will check you in against the list.

What is the refund policy?

Seats are transferable but not refundable. Weather moves carry over to the rain date rather than refunding. The full policy is right here.
